The song «Ojos que no ven, corazón que no siente» (out of sight, out of mind) highlights the importance of vision in the construction of our own reality. Like the rest of the senses, but with a marked preponderance, the way in which we translate what we see, observe and look at will be fundamental for the steps we take in our life path.
Today, and with technology and globalization, what we see has greatly enhanced what our ancestors saw, since they did not have all the technological tools that exist today, which limited, in a way, the reality they could build, from the point of view of knowledge and the range of information.
Likewise, the evolution towards the balance of the being, in the last 10000 years, has not progressed with the same power as the technological development, because most human beings have as a basis of life the incoherence and imbalance of consciousness.
Such is the bombardment of information and images that it is difficult for people to discern what is truly useful from what is superfluous, and it turns out that precisely the latter encompasses most of the external information that our being captures.
In this search for balance and coherence, it is essential to see what is resonant for our inner being, to incorporate and learn from all perspectives, but with the essence preponderating what our own being represents.
I invite you to see Matias’ post with the theme of the day
Finally, I encourage everyone to reflect on the concept of the day. No one else but us can re-signify our own being!
