If we think of the sixth dimension, then we add one more line to the fifth dimension. And we have something like a three-dimensional time. That is, we have added one more degree of freedom, so now we could not only move freely in one time plane, but we could be living two different futures (or two different pasts or two different presents) at the same time. A hexadimensional person, for example, would be in kindergarten and getting married at the same time.
We can now imagine that our temporal bifurcation is very far back in time. Perhaps in classical Greece. Maybe in the Jurassic. Maybe before the Solar System was formed. Or maybe a few seconds after the Big Bang. To go from one timeline to another, we need an additional dimension: the sixth dimension.
Thus, by traveling through the sixth dimension we could take «shortcuts» between timelines, or even through our own. We could move to a universe in which we were multi-millionaires, without the need to go back in time and look for the right bifurcation.
Recapitulating from a dimensional principle, we have imagined the fourth, fifth and sixth dimensions analogously to the first, second and third: a line, a bifurcation, a fold.
I invite everyone to read Matias’ post with the theme of the day
Finally, I encourage everyone to reflect on the concept of the day. No one else but us can re-signify our own being
