«Once, in a faraway land, a young man went to the forest and said to his spiritual guide: -I would like to have limitless wealth, and with that limitless wealth I want to help and heal the world. Please, would you give me the secret to create that abundance?
And the master replied, «There are two goddesses that dwell in the heart of every human being, and we all love those supreme beings deeply. But there is a secret you need to know, and I will tell you. Although you love both goddesses, you must pay more attention to one of them. She is the goddess of knowledge, and her name is Sarasvati. Pursue her, love her, and pay attention to her. The other, Lakshmi, is the goddess of Abundance. Seeing that you pay more attention to Sarasvati, Lakshmi will become very jealous and will pay more attention to you. The more you pursue the goddess of Knowledge, the more the goddess of Abundance will pursue you. She will follow you wherever you go and will never leave you. And you will forever have that abundance you desire. Knowledge, desire, and spirit have strength and that strength within each being is the key to creating abundance.
Abundance is the experience in which our needs are met with ease and our desires are fulfilled spontaneously. We feel joy, health, happiness, and vitality in every moment of our existence. Abundance is a reality, and the purpose of it is to give us an inner vision of the nature of that reality. When we are rooted in the nature of reality and, at the same time, we know that reality is our own nature, we understand that we are capable of creating anything, because all the material of creation has the same origin.
Nature comes to the same place to create a set of nebulae, a galaxy of stars, a rain in the forest or a human body, just as it does to create a thought. In creation, everything material, everything we can see, touch, hear, taste or smell, is made of the same substance and comes from the same source. The concrete knowledge of this fact gives us the ability to satisfy any desire, to acquire any material object, and to enjoy fulfillment and happiness, whatever the limit to which we aspire.
