AM: do you like painting and drawing?
Me: yes, I do. I have a certain facility for a certain type of drawing, with painting I never had the will to learn the technique to paint properly, but it is there with a certain degree of interest so maybe someday, if I put my will into it, I can take some course and focus on painting.
AM: there was interest at some point
Me: yes, as an alternative to relax and unload the work pressure, at other times, I started at a drawing school to go, but I didn’t last long. I wasn’t convinced by the way they taught, and I didn’t look for more.
AM: And tell me what drawing, and painting represent to you.
Me: in relation to drawing, I love two styles. The first one, landscape painting. I can copy quite well, always on an already established image, and from there I can express myself with pleasure. The other is abstract drawing. It has always caught my attention and I am relatively neat when putting together a drawing. Then there is the issue of the color palette. I have realized that I don’t have a harmonic crossing in the colors that I can use, so there is a whirlpool of emotions that sprout with colors that are not always so harmonic.
AM: you have already contributed some drawings in the month of Libra energy, you remember that don’t you?
Me: yes, they were freehand drawings, obviously without any details, but I definitely like to draw and paint. It is one of the ways of being able to express what our essence marks, in a very transparent way. It definitely relaxes me and fills me with energy at the same time.
AM: but you don’t dedicate time to it, even after those drawings you had to do for that month of Libra, you didn’t draw anything else until now.
Me: yeah, I don’t have it as primary, nowadays. No art. You’ll be asking me that for sure all this week, and it’s on the side, no doubt. Except for writing, with this blog, everything else, it’s there on the side. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have it in a special place to use at some point in my path.
AM: I know. Today you have other priorities, but I trust that you will be able to continue contributing your art, in all its forms, on this path. For you, for your descendants, and for all those who want to see it.
