The human being is an integral being that develops within an environment; he is influenced by a number of biological, psychological, social and spiritual characteristics. He is endowed with consciousness, intelligence, will, intentionality, affectivity, and creativity, in short, a personality, which obeys his temporal (historical moment) and spatial (place where he lives) location.
Anthropology is a scientific knowledge about the human being, and, in the classificatory cosmos of the particular sciences, it is located in the subclassification of the real sciences and, in the classification of these in the human sciences. Anthropology as a study, discourse, intelligence of the human being is classified around the interests, approaches, and objectives that scientific communities have about the object of study: the human being.
Thus, for some scholar’s anthropology is classified as scientific, philosophical, and cultural anthropology (De Sahagún, 1976, pp. 11-14), for others it is classified as scientific, philosophical and theological (Gastaldi, 2003, pp. 32-34). But if it is assumed that each science is by itself unique in its objective and methods, then anthropology is divided into: Physical or Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, Philosophical Anthropology and Theological Anthropology.
It is verified that the genesis of life is in itself a network of intelligent evolutionary processes, and this genesis and intelligent processes are explained in a convincing way by the theory of biological evolution, this theory explains how from the complexification of matter bacteria have emerged and from these biological organisms, which have been grouped into communities or natural reproductive units, this is what we call species. The presence and evolution of current species on the planet, then assumes the presence and evolution of other previous species in time and space, this is how to explain the offspring and the transformation of species, or simply the evolution of living beings.
I invite everyone to read Matias’ post with the topic of the day.
